| Description: | Abstract: Research is often conducted in collaborative, cross-institutional, inter-disciplinary projects. For projects with a long-term perspective, a well-fitted research data management (RDM) and services are particularly needed in a structured manner to foster active sharing and storing of research data and further information. Thus, establishing technical infrastructures for a central data storage, exchange and re-use is essential. These infrastructures should also regard other outputs of the research life cycle such as publications. Additionally, regular meetings, workshops and field campaigns support the exchange of research ideas. Consequently, both parts will create synergies and contribute to the objective of the project. In this article, three SFBs or SFB/Transregios (TRR) are used as examples to describe established supporting services with a focus on on Research Data Management (FDM). |
