Description:Abstract: 1. Since the soil of the upper facility has a high stone content, a calibration relation between the TDR measured dielectric permittivity and the SWC was determined in the lab. A conversion was required to do for calibrating the data in the data file: SWC_calibrated = SWC_file *0.9016-0.008739. 2. Data from one of the four replicated TDR sensors at 60 cm, 120 cm in the rainfed plot and at 40 cm in the irrigated plot were detected as outliers. more details are also refered to "Cai, G., J.
