Description(s):Abstract: Investigating water transport in soil plays an important role in improving water infiltration in agriculture and climatology. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has already become a popular method in near-surface geophysics in the last decade because the rapid improvement of instrumentation [1; 2]. This work presents preliminary results of a field test of the Slim-Line Logging tool to monitor soil water transport and moisture content in ITMC lawn Aachen. The effect of rainfall was studied to analyze the different soil environments. Three different positions were choosen for depth- dependent profile measurements
