All available metadata of the dataset is listed below. Some features are available, e.g. download of dataset or additional description file.
By downloading files from this dataset you accept the license terms of TR32DB Data policy agreement and TR32DBData Protection Statement. Adequate reference when this dataset will be discussed or used in any publication or presentation is mandatory. In this case please contact the dataset creator. VERY IMPORTANT! Due to the speed of the filesystem and depending on the size of the archive and the file to be extracted, it may take up to thirty (!) minutes until a download is ready! Beware of that when confirming since you may not close the tab because otherwise, you will not get your file!

Main Title: Meteorological and soil measurements (2018) of the permanent EC station MEEC001 in Merzenhausen
Description(s):
Abstract: This data set contains meteorological and soil measurements of the permanent Eddy Covariance station "MEEC001" in Merzenhausen. The measurement site is located in the southern part of the Lower Rhine Embayment. The dominant land use is cropland. The test site has a winter wheat/winter wheat/ sugar beet rotation. For detailed information about the station configuration, mounted sensors or land use management, please see the first tab of the excel sheet. The second tab contains information about the structure of the data on tab 3. Please note that only time series that described in tab 2 are suitable for further data analysis or publication.
The URL included in this metafile refers to the TEODOOR data portal of the TERENO project with weekly updated, quality controlled flux, meteorological and soil measurements of this station. The TEODOOR data portal allows to display and download all data (if already checked for quality) from the respective measurement station. Please contact Ralf Kunkel (r.kunkel@fz-juelich.de) to set up an user account if you like to download data via TEODOOR.
To access the data, please use the TEODOOR Portal (http://teodoor.icg.kfa-juelich.de/tereno-online-portal-folder/data-search-portal/data-portals/copy_of_observatorium-eifel-niederrheinische-bucht). Please contact Ralf Kunkel (r.kunkel@fz-juelich.de) to set up an user account if you like to download data via TEODOOR. If not the latest data is needed, please also look for yearly data sets of this station in the TR32 data base.
Meteorological and soil data was at least controlled by visual inspection by using common plausibility ranges and cross checks with nearby stations. Afterwards the data was flagged according to it's quality (O.K., suspect, moderate, bad etc.). Flux data was processed and checked according to the TERENO QC scheme (Mauder, M., Cuntz, M., Drüe, C., Graf, A., Rebmann, C., Schmid, HP., Schmidt, M., Steinbrecher, R., 2012. A strategy for quality and uncertainty assessment of long-term eddy-covariance measurements. Agricultural and Forest Meteorology 169, 122-135, 2013).
