| Description: | Abstract: The GSK3B is the updated version of the GSK3A published in 2002. The key used for water bodies and catchment areas is now based on the directive of the Länderarbeitsgemeinschaft Wasser (LAWA) (federal working group on water) of 2005. Also transboundary water bodies and catchment areas have been coordinated with data sets of the adjacent countries and federal states and additional data sets of water authorities, water organizations and other parties were included. Various elements displayed in the map were redeveloped from the DLM25 (Digital Landscape model 1 : 25 000). The GSK3B is not an official map but it is a scientific base that should be used to assign data and information with water bodies and catchment areas. |
