| Description: | Abstract: The Digital Topographic Map 1:25 000, provisional edition (DTK25-V), contains georeferenced Raster data of scanned Topographic Map 1:25 000 (TK25) map sheets and additions which were added digitally. The Raster data is organized in different layers for each cartographic element. There are 7 layers which can be displayed in multicolour, black-and-white or in an integrated multicolor layer. The aim of the DTK25-V is to establish a standardized digital cartographic database for whole Germany. It should be administered in a neutral way in line with the governmental public services and therefore be accessible for public and private consumers. It can be used as a spatial basis to build GIS or branch information systems or as background information which can be overlayed with subject-specific data. |
